Specialty Alloy Flanges Supplier
What are Flanges?
A Flange is a flat, round fitting that is used to connect pipes with a very tight seal. Flanges are secured in place with bolts or clamps. They are generally used when pipes pass through walls, ceilings or floors. Flanges are used in the Marine Industry on Large Commercial Vessels and Navy Ships. Flanges are used in Refineries to connect pipe and in Off-Shore drilling rigs, Petrochemical Plants and Power Plants. Flanges are generally used in larger-diameter pipe connections or when the medium traveling through the pipe is under high pressure. Flanges are also used when there are vibration considerations.
