What is a Wide Flange Beam?
A wide flange beam is a type of steel beam primarily used in the building and construction industry. It is a structural section with an even thickness on both flanges and is not tapered. The flange and web are set at 90-degree angles to one another. In stainless steel, wide flange beams are made in two methods:
- Hot Rolled
- Laser Fused
