Oscillate Coil Winding Services

Oscillate (or Traverse) wound coils are pancake coils welded together and wound back and forth on a traversing rewind drum. This process is similar to how a spool of thread or a garden hose is sold by the manufacturer. Oscillate wound coils significantly increase the coil's linear footage. The welds can be marked so they can be identified and removed during the customer's end manufacturing process.  Because of the increased linear footage, fewer changeovers are required resulting in decreased operational downtime and less material handling. 

Oscillate wound coils are ideal for high-volume production and high-speed stamping or forming.  Arbor Metals ^TM Dallas provides widths from .375" to .500" in thicknesses of .046" to .062".  This oscillate wound coil steel strapping is utilized in the Industrial Banding, Spiral Wound Gasket, Conveyor Belt and Heat Exchanger industries to name just a few applications.
