What is Pancake Slit Coil?
A traditional pancake coil — also known as a pancake wound coil or ribbon wound coil — consists of a single steel strip wound tightly on top of itself, similar to a roll of Scotch Tape. The slitting process continues until the maximum OD tolerance is reached, making pancake coils the most widely used form of Slit Coil on the market today.
